Hey there, friend! Are you feeling lost, alone, or like you’re not good enough? Maybe you’re struggling to find your life’s purpose or feeling like you’re stuck in a rut. Whatever your situation, I want you to know that God loves you and He’s concerned about your wellbeing. God means well for you and He’s still working behind-the-scenes for your good. You’re loved unconditionally by God.
What does it mean to be loved unconditionally by God?
The Bible says in 1 John 3:1 that “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!”
What a depth of the extravagance love of God has for You!. He loves you not because of what you do or don’t do or who you are, but simply because that’s who God is. For God is love.
Love is the core nature of God. 1 John 4:16-18 says “So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.”
1 John 4:19, “We love because He first loved us.” We see here that God’s love is not a response to your actions, but rather an initiation of His character. He loved you before you even knew Him!
Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Friend, you need to understand that
God’s love is not a shallow feeling, but a deep and unconditional commitment. His love for you comes with an unimaginable level of commitment to forgive you and take great care of you as a father.
God’s love is not based on your performance or worthiness. It’s not something you earn or deserve. Ephesians 2:8-9 says, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast.” God’s love is a gift, not a reward!
In the Bible, we learnt from the story of the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32 which depicts the father’s love for his son as a picture of God’s love for us. You see, God’s love waits for you, runs to you and welcomes you home, no matter what. No matter how messed up you seem, God’s love will never look down on you.
The death of Jesus Christ on the cross is the ultimate expression of God’s love for us all.
John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
So, If you’re feeling lost, alone, or like you’re not good enough, remember that Jesus Christ loves you and He’s still in love with you. His love is not based on your worthiness, but on His character. He loves you unconditionally!
God’s love is not fleeting; it’s eternal. Isaiah 54:10 says, “Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed.”
In a world that often tells you you’re not enough, Jesus Christ says, “You are loved.” In a world that often makes you feel like you’re alone, Jesus Christ says, “You are mine.” Always remember the love of Jesus Christ for you and let the revelation knowledge of His love for you be your anchor. His love for you will never fade! Hallelujah!
Now, here’s how you can begin to live in the revelation knowledge of God’s unconditional love:
– Receive God’s love: Recognize that God loves you unconditionally and receive His love.
– Trust Him: Trust that God has your best interests at heart and that He’s always working all things together for your good.
– Rest in His love: Rest in the knowledge that you’re loved unconditionally by God, regardless of your mistakes or failures.
Allow God’s love to transform your life daily even as you fellowship with Him through His Son Jesus Christ. Remember, you are loved unconditionally by God!
Pray this prayer out in faith from your heart and receive God’s love if you’re not born-again!
Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of your son Jesus Christ…
I pray and ask Jesus Christ to come into my heart and be my Lord…
I believe in my heart and confess that Jesus Christ is my Lord, and that God raised Him from the dead. I now receive the new life of God into my heart.
I am born-again, I am set free and my life will never be the same again. Amen!
And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified. Acts 20:32.
