For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10 NIV.
God has a divine plan for your life! However, it is important to acknowledge that there is a defeated devil out there who is determined to hinder your progress. This adversary consistently attempts to prevent us from living the victorious life that God has intended for us through Jesus Christ. He employs various deceptions and distractions to keep us from fulfilling our God-given assignments and responsibilities. But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. Romans 8:37.
It is therefore crucial for us to recognize that no matter what the world may offer to divert us from doing God’s will, it pales in comparison to the incredible plans that God has in store for each of us. God has a purpose for us in every season of our lives. So, instead of fixating on our circumstances, worldly lusts or desires, and the pride of life, we should maintain focus solely on God. When we lose sight of God, we become susceptible to distractions that hinder our true purpose in life.
As Christians, we are to consciously prioritize fulfilling God’s will, plan, and purposes in all areas of our lives. Though, this objective is universal for every member of the body of Christ. However, the path we each embark on to achieve God’s purpose for our lives will be unique to us individually.
God’s plan is flawless, His timing is impeccable, and His motive and heart of love are always for our good. It is ourresponsibility to pay attention to God’s plan because His plan for us is to succeed, advance His Kingdom on earth andlive in victory over the devil, the distractions, lusts and sinful desires that plague our world today.
So, do not get weighed down by the flood of negative thoughts, distractions, deceptions or challenges around you. Avoid becoming so focused on these things or yourself, or your selfish desires. Rather, constantly ensure to keep your heart focused on God and His plan for your life (see Proverbs 19:21, 16:9, and 20:24-25). And as you develop the right kingdom mindset and perspective to life, stay filled with the Spirit and led by the Spirit of God, you are able to keep yourself on track with God’s purpose for your life.
